About Us

Usinage Roy 2000 was founded in 1980 by Marcel Roy. The new moulding enterprise used the name Usinage Marcel Roy.

Before creating his enterprise, Marcel Roy accumulated 20 years of experience in moulding and thermoforming. He learned all the secrets of this trade at Vogue Plastique Inc. and climbed the ladder to become responsible for production.

In 1982, Sylvain Roy, son of Marcel, joined the ranks of the new company. Sylvain was initiated into the moulding and the foundry under  the supervision of his father, while taking night courses for 3 years in Mechanical Adjustment.

In 1990, Sylvain Roy took over the company. He had, during the years, offered new products and services to his clients. In 1992, for example, from request of some clients, the enterprise started to produce thermoformed plastic parts.

Since 2000, the company is under the name Usinage Roy 2000.
